PUISEUX-PONTOISE, France — May 2, 2014 — Aprium Technology, the robotic brand of the Barry-Wehmiller Fresh Dairy Packaging Division, is launching its high-technology sleeving machine for filled cups.
This machine is specifically designed to for integration into complete packaging lines, allowing streamlined production through saved floor space and storage zones, reduction of material requirements, and significantly less labor than other sleeving solutions.
This technology fills cups “bottom-up”. Heat exposure time for fragile products is half of competitors’ sleeving technology. Sleeve variable height application allows for flexibility and shelf differentiation. The modular design allows 10,000 to 15,000 cups per hour per head to double the production capacity. The sleeve and lid position control allows for greater visibility of the marketing message.
