Notable expansion across Europe puts the company at the forefront of its industry in the region
Wiltz, May 8, 2014 – PROCAP, a major European player in the plastic caps and closure systems industry, presents its remarkable expansion throughout Europe at INTERPACK 2014. Benoit Henckes, CEO PROCAP, and Yves Jozefiak, CCO PROCAP are on hand to discuss the firm’s European growth ambitions, specifically the advantages the recent acquisition of Schoeller Cap Systems in Germany (now PROCAP Schwerin) brings to customers, not just in the country, but further afield. The new facilities enable PROCAP to serve the German market much more effectively as well as providing a gateway to Scandinavia and Poland.
Also visible is PROCAP latest strategy development which shifts focus toward specific markets and applications.
“Visitors from different industries are seeing immediately the vast amount of research and innovation we are undertaking to devise advantageous solutions for their specific sector. Interpack provides an ideal forum for PROCAP to dialogue with customers and prospects about their future developments and needs. Our experts also exchange ideas and experience, learning from other markets to ensure we are always creating the most optimal solutions. We have launched a number of impressive new solutions at the event which are being extremely well received,” says Benoit Henckes.
These solutions include:
- 38 PROLINE: A closure designed specifically to assure reliable and efficient capping of non-carbonated beverages that helps to significantly increase productivity, saving time and cost.
- 63 PROCURVE: A UN-compliant closure for agro chemical containers that is extremely easy for end users to open and reseal, and offers a full chemical barrier with no IHS liner.
- 63 PROSLIT: A safe solution that features a new ‘flex’ TE band to create a full chemical barrier using a standard foam liner, resulting in a fully UN-compliant product for agro chemical packaging.
- 29/21 GREEN1P: A reliable mono-piece closure for edible oils, vinegars and sauces that is also lightweight and very competitively priced.
PROCAP not only innovates in terms of product design, but also in the area of production processes. Visitors to the PROCAP stand (Hall 10, stand D67) are seeing how the company’s optimised processes can increase efficiency and in some cases help lower their environmental footprint.
