Wire Belt launches new Versa-Link belting at Interpack 2014

Versa-Link conveyor belting

Innovative new belt design, offering unbeatable strength and open area for your most delicate and durable products. Saves time and money by linking quickly and efficiently – less than 30 seconds. Strongest light to medium duty metal conveyor belt available, with unique forged edges and linking rods.

Wire Belt introduces new patented Versa-Link™ conveyor belt, one of the most durable and open metal belts available for light to medium-duty applications. Developed under Wire Belt’s patent 6,202,833, with other patents pending, this belt is designed to increase value by eliminating safety hazards and reducing downtime for repairs.

Designed with Advanced Link Rod™ technology, the innovative linking rods splice in as little as 30 seconds. There are no special tools or welding required and the linking rods connect in the centre, leaving no weak points. A lightweight alternative to heavy flat-wire belts, Versa-Link’s unique spacing pattern offers product support to the edge of the belt, providing unbeatable strength and long belt life.

In a controlled test environment Versa-Link’s strength and reliability has proven to outlast competitive belt offerings by more than double! Versa-Link is made with quality stainless steel to operate in your toughest conditions, and remain easy to clean. Wire Belt is continually examining the unique needs of the food processing industry, and trying to offer solutions such as Versa-Link to help customers keep their total cost of ownership (TCO) for conveyor belting as low as possible.

Wire Belt’s unique Forged Edge Technology™, eliminates catch points and sharp edges. The forged edges will not break, snag or snap off during production, keeping your lines running safely and efficiently. Versa-Link offers one of the tightest transfers available and can be easily retrofitted on your existing equipment. The innovative belt design is perfect for a wide variety of applications such as breading, battering, cooling, coating, and frying.

Wire Belt’s entire line of Flat-Flex® belting products and CompactGrid™ are accepted by the USDA NSF/ANSI/3-A Hygiene standards.

Wire Belt Company is the leading manufacturer of open mesh stainless steel conveyor belting and has proudly maintained a reputation for developing advanced conveyor and belting solutions to meet the automated processing needs of the food industry.
