Bernd Jablonowski, Director interpack, and Tom Mitchell, President of Messe Düsseldorf North America, join Show Committee of US Trade Show
Presenting process engineering for the food and beverage industries PROCESS EXPO – held by the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) in Chicago, Illinois every two years – will in future benefit even more from the know-how of interpack as the leading international trade fair for the packaging sector and related processing industries. With immediate effect Bernd Jablonowski, Director interpack, and Tom Mitchell, President of Messe Düsseldorf North America, will become members of the PROCESS EXPO Show Committee. This body decisively influences the content and conceptual focus as well as the marketing strategy of the event recently declared the fastest growing trade show in the US.
PROCESS EXPO has been a member of Messe Düsseldorf’s international family of packaging fairs since late 2010. This family comprises nine events in total on four continents and all of these are of high relevance for their regional markets. They complement interpack as the international flagship fair of this alliance.
“Membership in the PROCESS EXPO Show Committee allows us to contribute our experience and know-how in a targeted and direct manner – in terms of both the American sector and the international markets whose decision-makers meet every three years at interpack in Düsseldorf. This means we will be able to further contribute to development of this dynamic trade fair,” explains Bernd Jablonowski, Director interpack.
In parallel with the forthcoming PROCESS EXPO, held from 3 to 6 November 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago, the International Dairy Show will be organised concurrently for the first time now. This show focuses on such topics as recipes, processes, packaging, distribution and food safety related to dairy products. The events will be complemented by a conference programme put together by the North American Meat Association (NAMA) as well as the Annual Conference of the Meat Import Council of America (MICA).
Also on show at PROCESS EXPO 2013 will be the SAVE FOOD Special Exhibition on combating international food losses that celebrated its debut at interpack 2011. Furthermore, the FPSA is a sponsor of the SAVE FOOD Initiative. The Association is the largest of its kind in the USA bundling technology and service providers for the international food and beverage processing industries.
