KHS well positioned with PET

KHS Corpoplast presented itself to a large group of trade journalists in Hamburg this week for the first time with and under a new logo – and with obvious pride. Corpoplast boss Dr.-Ing. Norbert Bargelé and his team made a confident impression as they drew attention to a new Blomax stretch blow moulding machine for PET bottles and a Plasmax coating machine for such bottles with an O2 and CO2 barrier – where German PET operations began, incidentally. Bargelé pointed out that the elimination of one gram of raw material / bottle in the production of PET bottles on state-of-the-art equipment can generate savings of up to EUR 200 000 per year. The Managing Director also emphasised to VR that KHS AG had obtained "a highly motivated team with Corpoplast and Plasmax, with very good technologies, good sales and double-digit returns".
