EMBAX - 2 - 5 March
13/08/2009
This coming spring the Brno Exhibition Centre will be opening its gates to a series of international food trade fairs from 2nd to 5th May. In 2010 a further trade fair will be added to the current portfolio of four.
EMBAX
26th Trade Fair of Packaging and Packaging Technologies
The new trade fair provides exhibitors and visitors with a compact overview of products and services in the packaging sector, both for the food industry and beyond.
Offering numerous innovations and international industry trends, the event seeks to target food specialists as well as representatives of the automotive, mechanical and electrical engineering industries and also the construction, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
Together with the food fairs that are held in parallel, EMBAX will reflect the entire workflow in the food industry – from the original product, through technologies for its processing, preparation, packaging, labelling and shipment to marketing and other services for the food industry.
The five trade fairs are expected to attract 40,000 visitors from 40 countries.
SALIMA - International Food Fair
The trade fair for food, beverages and processing technologies incl. additives will be extended to comprise regional products and specialities, organic food products and functional food.
This compact B2B show for suppliers and purchasers in the Czech food industry will be presenting new solutions and innovative product and sales ideas. In the tense situation of the current economic climate, SALIMA will help to consolidate and strengthen the industry.
MBK - International Milling Industry, Bakery and Confectionery Fair
MBK, which is held in Pavilion P, the biggest exhibition hall in Central Europe, is now the most important trade fair for the bakery and confectionery industry in this economic area.
INTECO - International Fair for Retail, Hotel and Catering Facilities
INTECO 2010 will be supported by new dynamic marketing. The exhibition will highlight technologies for the preparation of food and beverages as well as sales concepts, equipment, hygiene and industry services. At the same time, a communications campaign will focus specially on technologies in the HORECA sector and the wholesale and retail trades, providing added value for visitors from the industry.
Like last year, INTECO will be held in Pavilion V.
VINEX - International Wine Fair
This biggest trade fair of MOE wines will be held annually at the Brno Exhibition Centre again from 2010 onwards – in a city that functions as the gateway to the surrounding regional vineyards. As well as offering a wide spectrum of wines from the Czech Republic and the entire world, this trade fair includes innovative wine-growing techniques and technologies at two-year intervals.
BENEFIT for trade fair business
For the first time the five trade fairs will be accompanied by the BENEFIT programme, designed to provide financial assistance for companies coming to these trade fairs during the current economic downturn. Further details are available at: www.salima.eu.
