1. Coming to Düsseldorf

The Messe Düsseldorf provides special car parks for journalists and during every fair we offer special services at our Press Center to make working for you as comfortable as possible.

Where is the Press Center located?

Our Press Center is located on the first floor of the Administration Tower (Stockumer Kirchstraße) and can be reached easily from the foyer.

When will the Press Center be open?

The Press Center will be open from May 11 to May 18, 2011 from 9.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. daily.

Where can I park my car as a journalist?

If you are travelling by car, please proceed from Stockumer Kirchstraße to the parking garage P4 near by the Administration Tower. If you are visiting the show for the first time, please take a park ticket. Show your press pass issued by Messe Düsseldorf upon leaving the parking lot. You will then receive your ticket to exit free of charge. During the following days your press pass also acts as a permit for the car-park and entitles you to a ticket to exit.

2. Accreditation

As journalist you can register at special registration desks in all entrances, that are opened during the trade fair as well as the counter in the entrance of the Administration Tower close to the Press Center.

How can I register myself as a journalist?

At the registration desks you will be required to present a valid recognised press ID card or authorisation from your editor-in-chief (original heading, no copy!). A voucher copy bearing your name in the imprint/editor’s credits will also be accepted in conjunction with your passport or ID card. You can find our full accreditation guidelines here: (Link to the Accreditation Guidelines)

On demand you will receive a catalogue as well. Please understand that we don’t send catalogues by post.

When can I register myself as a journalist?

Press Cards will not be mailed prior to the fair!
Accreditation starts 30 minutes before fair runtime at the registration counters in the entrances as well as the counter in the entrance of the Administration Tower. On the day before the fair (May 11) the accreditation is possible in the Press Center.

Which services are available in the Press Center?

In the Press Center you can use PC work stations and internet, you will find Press information, exhibitor product information, foto services, luggage lockers and refreshments will be served at small costs.
Please notice that you need a press card issued by Messe Düsseldorf to get admission to the Press Center. Please wear you press badge clearly visible.
