Company Profile
Your products are taking shape

GEA Procomac is an Italian company located in Northern Italy, specialized in the developing of filling technology for sensitive beverages that require a clean filling environment. Its core business is designing, manufacturing and installing complete aseptic and traditional filling lines for juices, teas, isotonics, still soft drinks, dairy products and water.

Since 1993, when the first Procomac aseptic line was installed, the company has supplied 130 aseptic filling bloc, all of which use wet Peracetic Acid (PAA) as the sterilising agent for equipment and bottles surfaces.

ABF Aseptic Blow Fill system - a rotary aseptic blow moulding machine (aimed to have aseptic sterility as its core concept right from the start) with an integrated aseptic filler and capper - is the latest creation in GEA Procomac's range of aseptic filling systems: the first ABF system will be started up in Poland within a few months.

GEA Procomac received a letter of non-objection (LNO) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for aseptic filling systems for low acid shelf-stable products.

Established in 1979 as Procomac S.p.A., it has been a family-owned company until 2007, when it joined the GEA Process Engineering division of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, an international machines and process technology provider specialized in process engineering, components and solutions for the food and energy industries.
