Laser Perforated Films
Since 2004 Hatzopoulos produces Laser Scored laminates under the brand name X-Laser Cut. The laser scoring can take place in both horizontal or vertical direction to fit in any given application. X-Laser –Cut laminates are high barrier films with easy tear ability. This increases the convenience of the consumer as the packs may open easily with bare hands, helping for the consumption of the product.

Multilayer films
The X-Barr packaging solution consists of various different multilayer films for ultra protection of the product. X-Barr laminates according to the different film structure can protect goods regarding oxygen and other gases, water transmission, odours, flavor, sunlight and UV light. The films may be transparent, opaque or metalized with and without printing. According to the needs of each different market and application the barrier layer is selected. Typical barrier layers are Si-0x, EVOH, Pvdc, UV block coating among others.
