International orientation – regional roots

The Craemer Group is an internationally active family company specialised in metal forming, plastics processing and tool making. Their headquarters is the Paul Craemer GmbH founded in 1912 and located in the German town of Herzebrock-Clarholz. The group employs a staff of around 600, out of these 460 at their headquarters, and achieved an operating performance of around 160 million Euros in 2010. Today, the company has four European sites: their headquarters in Germany with production in all three business activities, a metal factory in the Slovakian town of Liptovský Mikuláš, a plastics injection moulding plant in Telford, UK, and an independent sales subsidiary for the plastics programme in Boulogne Billancourt, France.

In metal forming Craemer constructs and produces large-scale metal formed parts mainly for the automotive and household appliances industry. The focus of plastics processing is the development, production and marketing of plastic pallets, storage and transport containers as well as environmental systems of the Kliko brand. The group's web-portal-based plastic pallet management solution of the Palpool® brand completes the product and service range. All the tools and moulds needed for production are made by Craemer's own tool making facility in Germany. With the production of their entire product range the company ranks among today's leading European producers and is also recognised as one of the world's leading manufacturers of high quality plastic pallets.
