Rubber compound development

Since many years, Helvoet Pharma has always been in the forefront of the development of innovative rubber compounds with a low extractables profile and an excellent compatibility with many different pharmaceu-tical products. Besides these universal compounds, we also develop special compounds for customized or very special applications.
 

Product coatings

For very sensitive applications,  Helvoet Pharma has developed flexible, inert coatings for rubber closures which cover the complete product surface.
Examples are Omniflex coated plungers and OmniflexPlus coated stoppers.

Product development and project management

Helvoet Pharma is engaged in the development of novel rubber and aluminium products for pharmaceutical packaging.  Each year many projects are successfully completed in cooperation with our customers. Such projects include the determination of specifications, preparation of product drawings, construction of sample molds, manufacturing and testing of product samples.

Mold design and development

Molds both for standard and customized products are designed and developed by an in-house team of specialists. The molds are manufactured by a wholly owned Helvoet Pharma subsidiary in the Netherlands.
