DUO PLAST is the dynamic company in the stretch film market and develops into one of the technological leaders throughout Europe.

Norbert Jäger MBA, today active as CEO of the public limited company, founded DUO PLAST as pure trading company in 1983. Already in 1990 DUO PLAST began with the converting of stretch and wrapping film and produces hand rolls and bundling film with a film width between 20 an 1.000 mm on several semi and fully automatic slitting and winding machines since then. The demand of customers for thickness reduced high performance film with a high quality standard was one of the main reasons for DUO PLAST to start with the production of high quality blown film with a new formula in 1998. Beside the primary production site in Lauterbach/Hesse, DUO PLAST also runs in Sünna/Thuringia the most modern production plant for blown stretch film in Europe since 2003, including a high-tech 7-layer extrusion line for blown film.

A wholly owned subsidiary in Asnières sur Seine (France) as well as sales offices in Linz (Austria) and throughout Germany allow a personal and customer-oriented service. The SME with currently approximately 90 employees is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995.

For many years DUO PLAST also converts the in-house produced high quality blown film successfully to hand rolls and bundling film as well as coloured, printed and pre-stretched film in many variants. One outstanding product in this range is the pre-stretched 7-my hand roll "007". Introduced in 2007 it offers several clear advantages (e. g. absolutely smooth outside, new winding for easy handling) compared to customary products.

Another highlight is the stretch tubular film added to the product range a few years ago. "DuoRobusta" is - according to the customer's needs - available in three qualities and thus able to meet even highest requirements.

As completion of the product range DUO PLAST offers beside many variants of film also semi and fully automatic wrapping machines.
