The COPACO group, founded in 1968, is a strategic alliance of mid sized packaging producers. The competencies and resources of the independent members are pooled in the group.

Joint activities in the group include product development, information technology, production technology, procurement management, quality management, logistic services, marketing and sales.

Eleven production sites and a yearly turnover exceeding 280 million Euro let COPACO be ranked among the leading suppliers of folding cartons in Germany/Switzerland and throughout Europe.

The Members
Pharma packaging is the speciality of August Faller KG (Waldkirch, Binzen, Schopfheim). Folding cartons, patient information leaflets and self-adhesive labels are produced and supplied out of one single source. With two PharmaServiceCenters, Faller is setting standards in packaging logistics for the pharmaceutical industry. The potential of increasing efficiency in the packaging process - consistent process orientation - is fully exploited by means of a cross-company process management. As a founding member of COPAPHARM EUROPE, Faller is a packaging partner for the European pharma industry.

Karl Knauer KG (Biberach) supplies innovative packaging and advertising media for the branded product industries. Its speciality is carton packaging with that little bit extra, for example inner linings and sophisticated finishing techniques. Moreover, Karl Knauer offers complete packaging solutions - packaging idea, manufacturing, co-packing and shelf replenishment - and offers a specialty packaging machinery department.

The rlc | packaging group specialises in premium, general, pharma and contract packaging. The group concentrates on taking over packaging responsibility by offering complete packaging management solutions. Located in Hanover, Berlin and Poznan, rlc supplies packaging for brands in the cosmetics/bodycare, food/sweets and consumer goods industries. In the Berlin Pharmacenter cartons and leaflets are manufactured under the strictest hygiene and safety standards.
