August Faller KG (Waldkirch / Germany) is systems supplier for secondary packaging for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. This medium-sized, owner-operated company, with its headquarters in Waldkirch, Germany, is now more than 125 years old. Faller's range of services covers the full spectrum of one-stop packaging made from carton, e-flute cardboard and paper: folding cartons, leaflets and adhesive labels.
In two state-of-the-art PharmaServiceCenters, Faller manufactures folding cartons and package inserts, with an extra LabelsCenter for the manufacturing of labels. Faller supplies the products individually or in pre-specified combinations: for example, the "FallerBeipack", a folding carton with package inserts attached or integrated booklet; or a folding carton with adhesive labels pre-applied. In other words, as a system supplier with extensive experience and comprehensive know-how, Faller is able to realize a huge variety of combinations from the three products.
Faller also provides its customers with the option of so-called KIT delivery. This means the secondary packaging reaches the pharmaceutical manufacturer as required, batch compatible and just-in-time - folding cartons, inserts and labels all in one consignment delivered straight to the customer's standby-zone.
Another core competence is our wide range of services for everything to do with PharmaPackaging: our own section for packaging development designs innovative products in accordance with the wishes of the customer, making new packaging concepts ready for production. Which is why in 2006 Faller won for the second time in succession the ProCarton/ECMA Award for pharmaceutical packaging developed in collaboration with the customer.
Faller plans and puts into practice integrated services in the field of PharmaLogistics, making acquisition processes more efficient and transparent. In working closely with its customers, Faller also supports them in developing concepts for managing the entire Supply Chain.
