Wooden Food Packaging Specialist

Wood for packaging that differentiates and enhances your products

A material used historically by the company, wood allows quality packaging for your products to be made. It comes from our poplar plantations located in France, and it is also processed – peeled, veneered – internally.

We control four manufacturing techniques for your packaging: – Stapling – Gluing – Thermoforming – Thermogluing

Each technique is adapted to your products. Packaging – boxes, punnets, trays – can be laminated with parchment paper or plastic to meet technical or aesthetic requirements.

Plastic for technical and creative packaging

We control the entire production chain of your plastic packaging from design to the realisation of moulds, printing in mould labels (IML) to the injection or thermoforming plastic containers. This guarantees our clients flexibility and leeway in terms of delivery times.

Our design offices of Plasti-Lax and North America IML Containers work with you to develop innovative packaging, tailored to your needs through thin wall injection or thermoforming.

About us

Company details

We manufacture generic and customised packaging
Our company was founded in Bois d’Amont in the Jura in 1946. Our business began with the manufacture of wooden objects. It wasn’t long before cheese makers asked us to create packaging for their products. At their request, we also developed cardboard and plastic packaging.

Our strategy hasn’t changed – we still listen to our clients and adapt to their markets.

Our development is vertical: we control our supplies of wood and its processing: peeling, veneering. We manufacture plastic packaging using robotic tools created by our R&D. And we have the printing plants to provide our clients with creative options for all three materials: wood, cardboard and plastic.

Our customers have only one point of contact from design to delivery of the finished packaging.

Our development in terms of exports corresponds to our wish to be closer geographically to our clients. We currently have factories and printing plants in Europe, North America and South America, and Asia.

If our expertise focuses on the demanding markets of packaging, we have also applied our know-how to industry by researching global packaging solutions in other markets.

Our clients will find within our teams solutions for significant ranges of standard packaging. In connection with the marketing department of our clients, our R&D department also createscustomised, personalised and technical packaging. It is our challenge as leader to continue to be innovative in order to provide packaging that makes a difference.
