Autograv®

Autograv®, the complete weighing and mixing system with recipe management is available in various executions and sizes:

Autograv® A non jacketed
Autograv® B jacketed for warm water
Autograv® C jacketed for steam
Autograv® D jacketed for steam with a surface-sweeping anchor-type stirrer
Special executions of up 4.000 l systems available upon request

Autograv is designedfor precise metering of raw ingredients prior to cooking. The steam heated batch weigher ensures a fully dissolved solution enters the cooker. System can optionally include a high shear mixer for optimum emulsification of fat and rehydration of milk powders.
Chocotech offers a complete range of tanks for preparation and storage of various raw materials.
Drys - from big bag granulated sugar feeding and milk powder screw feeders with integrated dust ventilation to minor ingredient handling into the batch weigher.

The Carastar® is a universal batch cooker designed for cooking all types of masses such as caramel, binders, jelly, fillings, sugar solutions etc.

The universal batch cooker is designed for all type of masses. The Carastar® is available in a number of different sizes and comes with options such as: load cells for automatic ingredient feeding into cooker if there is no batch weigher available, vacuum installation, high shear mixer for homogenization and lump free dispersion of the mass, CIP booster pump and dairy valving to allow an inline washing of the system. The Chewmaster® is a system for the continuous crystallization of sugar or sugar-free chewy candies with a fine and uniform destribution of the crystals in the final product. Depending on the recipe and texture which is required for the final product different components of the chewmaster are used. It can be a combination of cooling screw, crystallization screw, Tornado (continuous aerator) and relaxing belts.

Company details

CHOCOTECH – Quality and innovations since 1920
In 1920 the company was founded in Wernigerode  as “Lauenstein & Co. KG” by Mr. Otto Lauenstein. In 1930 the company already secured a world wide customer base with the production of the first chocolate tempering machine world-wide. Only nine years later the 95 workers had reached the next impressing aim: 750 of those machines were sold.

In 1990 it was rearranged under the name CHOCOTECH Wernigerode GmbH. After this successful restructuring Mr. Helmut Sollich became the owner of CHOCOTECH.  Today CHOCOTECH belongs to the Sollich group.

Since 1990 the company has grown: A big step was building up the CHOCOTECH CANDY DIVISION in the year 2000 after the acquirement of the Company Ernst, a manufacture of cookers and aerators for candy products. Since then CHOCOTECH has been very successful with a wide variety of national and international candy manufacturers.
