Raynbow

Raynbow is an optical sorting machine with high resolution sensors that examine the product using the "high speed double vision" system which analyses 100% of the surface of each product.

The system is used to check agro-food products: Fruit and Vegetables.

Raynbow can dispose of colour defects, marked produce and foreign bodies also the same colour as the good product. The product is fed on the conveyor belt used to stabilise the product so it doesn't roll off. By doing so, all the products can be inspected and, if necessary, ejected on presenting the same conditions in both the vision zone and the reject zone.

Raynbow can have a palette reject system with electro-pneumatic or air activation using electrically controlled ejection valves.

It can have a single ejection system, or in 3Way mode, can have two reject systems that differentiate unusable produce from defects considered second choice.

 
TECHNOLOGY
 
RAYNBOW is a hexa-chromatic machine equipped with NIR (Near InfraRed) technology for Visible Color analysis.

NIR technology can detect the presence of rot and foreign bodies (even if completely black). 
Visible Color analysis allows colour defects to be detected, such as green products, yellowing, etc.
In optional mode, the machine can conduct chlorophyll analysis to allow very accurate detection of foreign bodies in products with high chlorophyll content (apples, green beans).
An ethernet connection is available for remote control.
The machine detects statistical data on rejected products for quality analysis of the selected raw material.

DESCRIPTION Discovery

Discovery is an optical sorting machine with the highest resolution cameras to examine the product on the conveyor belt. The system is used to check whole or cut agro-food products: Fruit and Vegetables.

Discovery can dispose of colour defects, marked produce and foreign bodies also the same colour as the good product. The product is fed on the inspection belt used to stabilise the product so it doesn't roll off. The inspection zone is clearly separated from the ejection zone to avoid product sprays which can prejudice selection over time.

Discovery is equipped with an air reject system with 288 electrically controlled ejection valves. It can have a single ejection system, or in 3Way mode, can have two reject systems that differentiate unusable produce from defects considered second choice.

Discovery is an Octa-Chromatic machine equipped with the following technologies:

  • Shape analysis.

The Chlorophyll analysis allows very accurate detection of foreign bodies in products with high chlorophyll content (lettuce, peas, green beans).
Translucency analysis enables detection of stones in the dehydrated fruit and contaminants which are on the side towards the conveyor belt.
The shape analysis is used to detect small pieces of fruit and green beans. Furthermore, it enables removal of waste as pieces are too small.
An ethernet connection is available for remote control.
The machine detects statistical data on rejected products for quality analysis of the selected raw material.

Typhoon

Typhoon is an optical sorting machine with the highest resolution cameras to examine the product on the conveyor belt.
The system is dedicated to checking the food products in pulpy or liquid form such as fruit pulp, crushed or extruded tomatoes or pulpy diced fruit and tomatoes.

Typhoon can dispose of colour defects, marked produce and foreign bodies also the same colour as the good product.
The product is fed onto the inspection belt forming a light layer. The inspection zone is clearly separated from the ejection zone to avoid product sprays which can prejudice selection over time.

Typhoon is equipped with a reject system with vacuum extractor. Based on the size of the product particles, the reject system can be equipped with 64, 88, 128 or 176 extractor nozzles. The diameter of the extractor nozzles always vary based on the size of the particles of product from a minimum of 8 mm to a maximum of 25 mm. Typhoon can be equipped with a single ejector system or can have two reject systems to select fine and diced pulp.

2002
Raytec Vision SpA was established in 2002 in Parma, by merging three industrial sectors in a single passion: quality control in the food sector. From the beginning of our business, we marketed a vast range of innovative machines, such as the optical sorting machines for raw materials (e.g. tomatoes, potatoes and peppers) and for processed products (such as lettuce, diced fruit or jam); x-ray inspection machines for packaged and unpackaged products.

ANALYSIS SYSTEM OF CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT
The company's development lay in an analysis system of chlorophyll content for washed lettuce, peas and green beans. This type of analysis eliminates foreign bodies, even if they are the same colour as the good produce.

X-RAY PANORAMIC VISION SYSTEM
Another important development lay in the x-ray panoramic vision system to identify fragments of glass at the bottom of jam jars.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS
New developments that have enabled further growth of the company are the new camera sorting machine for peeled tomatoes, the high efficiency sorting machine that removes black spots from tomato rustic pulp and the double translucence sorting machine that identifies small stones inside dehydrated fruit (dried prunes, apricots and cherries).

R&D
Research and Development is non-stop in Raytec. We are testing innovative light sources that will shortly enable us to create a sorting machine for frozen products. In the x-ray sectors we are collaborating to create more performing emitters and sensors.
