Continuous Inkjet Printing & Coding

New Ax-Series
Domino Printing is the undisputed industry leader in Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) coding and printers and have set the industry standard for print quality, reliability and versatility for over 30 years. Domino Printing is the preferred supplier of many OEM's and multi-national companies, with CIJ printers selling in over 120 countries.

Why choose the Ax-Series?
Speed, accuracy and the ability to perform in tough and varied environments give our revolutionary Ax-Series printers a leading edge. An industry breakthrough, our new generation of ink drop technology gives you gains in ink usage, droplet accuracy and placement at traditional print speeds. Our class-leading i-Pulse system allows you to rapidly print high-contrast, durable messages and multiple lines at the fastest possible speeds, while our i-Pulse  inks adhere to anything – even after the toughest post-print processes.

Why use CIJ?
Over the last 30 years continuous inkjet technology has become the standard solution in more than 90% of coding application. It is chosen because it is simple to install and extremely versatile being able to print on virtually any surface. The Domino printer range is recognised as the benchmark that all others are measured against due to high reliability and ease of use.

Thermal Inkjet Printers

G-Series i-Tech
The modular solution for flexible high resolution printing with innovative fluids

Experience and innovation are perfectly combined in Domino’s G-Series i-Tech printing systems.
If you are looking for a coding solution that is flexible, easy to integrate into your production line and designed for high resolution printing at fast line speeds with complete reliability, G-Series thermal ink jet printers can meet your needs.

The modular set-up can grow along with your requirements, enabling you to operate multiple production lines or larger-sized message. Intelligent i-Tech features and smart cartridge functions guarantee easy operation, improved production planning and reduced errors - saving you time and money.

As G-Series controllers do not require regular essential maintenance, your line efficiency is greatly improved.

Specialized for high-resolution printing, Domino's thermal ink jet printers G-Series has many benefits to offer:

  • High speed / resolution printing that keeps up with the fastest production environments
  • Clean, minimal amounts of ink used per code, many food packaging inks available within the range
  • Superior print head technology provides exact drop placement and high print quality using our Water and Ethanol based inks
  • Minimal production disruption: Cartridge replacement is easy, service free with virtually no maintenence.

Thermal Transfer Overprinting

V-Series

Domino’s V-Series range of Thermal Transfer Overprint (TTO) coders can print variable data, bar codes and images at 300dpi quality onto flexible packaging films and labels for a wide range of manufacturing and packaging applications in the food, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.

Thermal transfer is already a well established technology for coding onto flexible packaging yet through superior capability and technological advances that make it more affordable, it is also now gaining widespread recognition as a replacement to older, non digital technologies including hot stamp and roller coders.

The V-Series range comprises 3 models (V120i, V230i and V320i) to suit your specific coding needs but, compared to alternative TTO solutions, all offer you reduced Total cost of ownership (TCO) though reduced downtime, reduced consumable use, operational simplicity and improved coding capability.

This added value has been delivered through i-Tech, Domino's intelligent Technology which has been developed with over 20 years of TTO experience and has resulted in unique innovations such as our i-Tech Ribbon Drive and our class leading QuickStep user interface.

These benefits combined with versatility and simple installation, ensure V-Series is the perfect choice whether you are a manufacturer or packaging machinery OEM

D-Series i-Tech laser range

D-Series i-Tech CO2 lasers
The D-Series lasers offer a power range of 10W, 30W and 60W lasers to fit all your coding needs for a wide variety of materials, from low to high speed applications, basic to complex codes.

More Flexibility – simplifies integration
D-Series flexibility is mainly achieved through the small i-Tech scan head options, connected to the laser tube on a multi-position mount. The small scan head can be rotated through 90 degree steps, together with the full length integrated mounting rails the D-Series lasers can be installed in the most restricted spaces.

More Performance – increases efficiency
The i-Tech scan heads are not only small but also the fastest of their kind realised through optimum mirror and software control. There are two scan head options available for different application requirements, with the i-Tech 15 scan head offering exceptional code quality on larger mark field applications, e.g. for coding on the web. D-Series also ensures legally compliant solutions to cover the serialisation requirements of the European Falsified Medicines Directive (EU Directive 2011/62/EU) with both human readable and 2D datamatrix coding.

F-Series i-Tech fibre lasers

With the F-Series fibre laser systems you can permanently mark a wide range of materials, such as metal, plastics and flexible packaging with the utmost precision. It can produce unlimited lines of texts, graphics and is ideal for 2D data matrix codes. The F-Series lasers are equally suited for static/intermittent coding and “mark-on-the-fly” applications.

Domino’s F220i (20W) and F720i (70W) fibre laser coders are second to none for achieving crisp, sharp codes. The combination of very fine spot and high pulse power peaks ensures that your products are marked with utmost precision. This fibre laser machine makes it easy to engrave metals and micro process harder materials but equally the F220i and the F720i are fine enough to achieve a more delicate touch.

With the help of its unique capability to tailor the waveforms specifically to your application requirements it is now possible to achieve better contrast and code quality on your packaging materials.

As with all laser systems the F-Series lasers offers 21 CFR part 11, GAMP compliance and validation packages for our pharmaceutical customers.

Fibre laser efficiencies
‘Built to last’ is the motto for all Domino laser systems. The F-Series combines robustness with very long life of the fibre ensuring high productivity. It is economic, efficient and resource-saving not only because planned maintenance routines are not necessary but also because it does not produce any heat and thus ensures a gentle operation and long life.

Digital Colour Label Press

N610i digital colour label press
Combines the productivity associated with flexo with the flexibility offered by rapid job change digital technology

The Domino N610i, with industry standard 333mm (13”) print width, up to 7 colours including opaque white, 600dpi ‘native’ print resolution and operating speeds up to 75m/min (246ft/min) is the only label press that combines the productivity of flexo printing with the flexibility offered by rapid job change digital technology.

During a 30 minute flexo make-ready, the N610i could produce up to 2250m of print – this could be 10 new customer jobs secured by your reduced lead times. This offers label printers an investment that provides added potential for greater sales growth and increased profitability, whilst reducing production cost and complexity.

The N610i uses vibrant UV curable inks designed for a range of industry standard self-adhesive label stocks including coated paper, polyethylene and polypropylene, normally without the need to prime. Key applications include industrial, security, health and safety, automotive, chemical, personal care and pharmaceutical labels.

NEW - Textures by Domino
Increased shelf edge appeal is achieved due to the highly reflective nature of the print. Unique digital textured effects can open up new applications for Domino N610i press owners. Unique textured labeling is achievable up to 50m/min (164ft/min) using the Domino N610i. This feature enables standard coated paper, PP and PE materials to be turned into textured materials.
