AFTER MOVING PRODUCTS FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS, WE FEEL CONFIDENT IN WHAT WE DO
Carryline was founded in 1963 by Ulf Henrekson, who previously worked as a consultant / technical director of issues related to materials handling. As the first person in the world, he came up with the idea to replace steel conveyors to aluminum with a replaceable plastic chain. According to the meccano principle he built a number of basic units together to form a conveyor system.
Carrylines production took off in the 1970s in Kungälv. Somewhat later SKF discovered the system, which saw the benefits of using conveyors between their machines.
Until the 1990s, production was focused on custom-made conveyor systems. In the mid-90s Carryline focused solely on conveyors made from the same peripheral products. This resulted in a 10-fold production during the period 1995-2006. Carryline now delivers complete automated conveyor system.
