Working principle
  • The bottles are fed accumulated in lying position
  • The bottles are taken by BOTTLEGRIP with vacuum grippers
  • Detection of bottle neck/bottom with camera system BOTTLE CHECK
  • Place bottles in upright position
  • Insert the bottles into RATILIGHT Pucks
  • BOTTLE ORIENTER (Option)
  • Consistent orientation of the bottles in RATILIGHT Pucks.
The BOTTLE CHECK system allows to detect the following characteristics:
  • Asymmetrical bottles
  • Moulded symbols
  • Prints
  • Beginning of the thread at the bottle neck
  • Previously fed bottle format data will be loaded automati- cally by format change-over.

Premiere at the Interpack show 2017

At this year’s Interpack, RATIONATOR celebrates the premiere of its latest machine development: the BOTTLEMAT Robot will be presented to an expert audience for the first time. The flexible bottle handling machine is designed for automatic unscrambling, orienting and inserting of plastic bottles into RATILIGHT Pucks. The initial models have already passed successfully the endurance test in production.

The machine with 3 integrated robots guarantees a high process reliability. The additional use of format parts is not necessary. With the new system RATIONATOR puts once again emphasis on flexibility. A big variety of formats from approx. 50 to 1.000 ml can be safely processed on the BOTTLEMAT Robot. The gentle bottle handling is even suitable for PET bottles. By the consequent application of the proven RATILIGHT Puck transport system a quick, easy and cost-effective format change is ensured.

 The integration of the BOTTLEMAT Robot into consisting RATIONATOR filling and capping lines is quite easily possible. This machine of the latest generation is an advantageous addition to the existing RATIONATOR product range.

RATIONATOR has been innovative in the packaging machine business for up to 50 years. Furthermore, it has managed to create a name for itself internationally as manufacturer of flexible filling lines with the so-called integrated puck system.

Our state-of-the-art machines have especially been designed to fit the needs of the cosmetics, the pharmaceutical, the chemical and, last but not least, the food industry.
Particularly for the cosmetics industry we have developed and optimized a versatile machine program which, due to short downtime and low format costs, enables our customers to ensure their economic manufacturing capability even with relatively small batch sizes. It is beneficial for our clients to reliably and efficiently process the most varied bottle and cap formats as well as a wide variety of filling products with one filling line only. This is mainly achieved by the consistent use of our inexpensive and versatile RATILIGHT Pucks.

The benefit from the flexibility of the RATILIGHT Puck System generally allows a wide range of bottle formats to be placed in the same RATILIGHT Puck.

Our customers also find it advantageous that the RATILIGHT Puck System allows them to react rapidly to changing market requirements. These requirements have had a significant influence on the development of our current line concepts for the medium and high power range.
