C3000 System Checkweighers

Imagine what you could achieve with this checkweigher...
Imagine a checkweighing system engineered to precisely meet your requirements. A checkweighing system that is adaptable in the best possible way to numerous applications with a robust reliable design. This, and an outstanding performance is your key to a future-proof dependable investment.

Highest performance
The C3000 System has been engineered in accordance with several decades of METTLER TOLEDO experience of a range of global manufacturing industries. At the same time, the flexibility of the C3000 System means that we can also focus on your individual requirements. With completely redesigned mechanics for improved stability, the weighing accuracy and throughput is increased by up to 33%. C3000 System checkweighers are also designed for the fastest speeds required within the highest calibratable weighing range.

Best-in-class safety
With the new C3000 System comes new levels of operator safety. We have worked with several major customers (who produce a wide range of products) so as to understand their safety requirements, and the C3000 System is designed to meet those high standards. Our commitment to all required design regulations and legal requirements is your assurance of a superb, high-performance product. A full and thorough risk assessment is available with every machine.

Ease of use and integration
C3000 Systems work intuitively - and, designed with you, the customer, in mind, they include an important core feature: an open-designed four-tube frame structure, whose curved angles and minimal horizontal surfaces guarantee easy cleaning and maintenance. The user interface features simple navigation, and supports your daily work with diagnostic tools. Together, these features help to generate more uptime for your production process.

Best Total Cost of Ownership
The C3000 System design adapts easily to future needs. Wear parts are reduced to a minimum and our professional worldwide service standards maximise your equipment uptime. Professional validation and calibration support ensures that your machine is set to perform in optimum alignment for your tasks and specifications. Moreover, overall improved equipment efficiency, combined with increased performance, will keep Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) at reassuringly comfortable levels.

Glass Container X-ray Inspection Systems

Glass Applications
Safeline X-ray’s glass inspection systems are relied upon by food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide to ensure product safety and integrity. Our x-ray inspection systems are ideal for detecting contaminants in glass jars and bottles containing a broad range of food products such as condiments and sauces, fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables, infant feeding products, ready meals, meat, poultry and dairy plus beverages and medicines in glass containers.

Product Safety
Glass inspection machines can detect a wide range of dense contaminants like metal, mineral stone, calcified bone, high density plastic and rubber compounds and glass within glass, irrespective of their shape, size or location within the bottles and jars. By ensuring the highest levels of product safety and quality, Safeline X-ray inspection systems can protect the well-being of consumers, avoid customer disappointment, minimise the risk of product recalls and help manufacturers uphold brand integrity.

Quality Control
In addition to providing unrivalled contamination detection, our glass container inspection equipment is capable of simultaneous quality control, helping manufacturers to optimise overall production-line efficiency by inspecting the fill levels of glass jars and bottles and avoiding product waste. Inspecting for the presence of the cap on containers ensures product freshness and our systems also have the ability to detect under-fill and over-fills which can help to maintain productivity.

Improved Container Inspection
All Safeline X-ray systems are capable of detecting glass contaminants, but our purposely developed glass-in-glass detection machines provide all-round glass inspection by reducing blind spots in the base, sidewalls and neck of the container. Optimal glass-in-glass detection can be obtained using either a combination-beam x-ray system or a system with an angled single x-ray beam. Solutions are available which can detect and remove glass contaminants within glass packages at very high throughput speeds.

Label & Print Inspection and Detection

Label and Print Quality Inspection
Label-related defects are the most common cause of product recalls, and also happen to be the most preventable. Once a product is on a retailer's shelf, labels are a manufacturer's only line of communication with the consumer, so the label needs to be complete and properly located. A label that is correctly positioned without rips, folds or other imperfections helps improve a product's first impression - and can mean all the difference between a sale and a missed opportunity.

METTLER TOLEDO vision inspection systems perform label inspection across a variety of different packaging types, providing assurance that labels are always present, correct and looking their best when they leave production facilities.

Label Positioning
An out-of-place label can negatively affect consumer confidence in the quality of a product. In particular, premium items fail to communicate superior product quality when labels are not in their proper positions. METTLER TOLEDO's label inspection systems plot the position of labels along both the x and y axis, even on un-oriented products, and rejects products with damaged, skewed or missing labels.

Label Quality Inspection
It takes great time and effort to create a compelling label design that will catch the eye of consumers, as well as communicating the qualities of a product and adhering to labeling regulations for a given country and industry. When a label is dispatched to retailers with folds, tears, or flagged edges, it undermines the effectiveness of the label design and wastes the effort taken to create an effective label. METTLER TOLEDO vision systems ensure label quality to keep labels pristine and effective.

Graphical Identification
Every product changeover carries the risk of a mislabeling error. By using a vision inspection system to perform graphical identification inspections, mislabeling errors are caught as soon as the first mislabeled product comes down the line, reducing the chance of a recall.

Powerful Control Software, Intuitive Interface
Without the right control software, even the best system will under-perform. Fortunately, METTLER TOLEDO has built the best available software in its CIVCore platform, providing an intuitive interface for first-time operators. The interface makes changing between product profiles fast and easy, enabling rapid product changeovers. In addition, its granular administrative settings allow for the creation of multi-level user accounts.
