A TOAST TO THE BEVERAGE INDUSTRY. The variety of packaging materials and possibilities in the drinks industry is especially large. This in turn means that the challenges and opportunities for product developers and packaging designers are equally as large. The consumer is becoming ever more demanding and the environment and resources need to be treated and used in a responsible way. A small start-up had a big new idea that met all these requirements: true fruits from Bonn.

GOOD AND HONEST
The company's founders brought the idea of liquefied fruits without any other further ingredients back from Scotland, where they compensated the vitamin deficiency that resulted from studying business and their enjoyment of the night-life with "smoothies", which were available in every supermarket. And they thought to themselves, we could do that as well: Just a lot better.
THIS IS HOW BIG SMALL CAN BE.
As the company started in 2006, it had three employees and a turnover of €40,000. In 2013, 19 employees generated €7.6 million in turnover. At the heart of the business are honesty, purity, high-quality and transparency. These are characteristics which are very strongly projected through the packaging: Puristically-designed, 250 ml and 750 ml cylindrical ceramic-printed glass bottles with a screw-cap top.
RECYCLING WAS YESTERDAY.
These disposable bottles (45% recycling glass) have fervent fans. It would break their hearts to throw these bottles away. They continue to live as chandeliers, spice jars or bird feeding systems. The company has developed its own upcycling line. Thus, the true fruits disposable bottle lives longer than some returnable bottles.
