SAVE FOOD Congress 2017

The SAVE FOOD Initiative presented itself for the third time now this year on the occasion of interpack in Düsseldorf. At the international SAVE FOOD Congress on 4 May 2017 speakers from business, science and political spheres and civil society got together to shed some light on the various facets of the food waste problem.

As a Special Forum operated by the trade fair, the innovationparc wasagain be entirely dedicated to the SAVE FOOD theme this year. Here partners and members of the SAVE FOOD Initiative presented their studies as well as sector or company-specific initiatives.

Furthermore, the innovationparc provided a setting for expert exchange and networking.

SAVE FOOD Congress Programme

This year, the SAVE FOOD Initiative presents itself for the third time on the occasion of the interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf. Speakers from industry, science, politics and the civic society will meet to explore the problem of food waste and its various aspects. A key topic this year will be India.

innovationparc - Programme Schedule

A real highlight is the innovationparc, a unique hallmark of interpack and Messe Düsseldorf’s own forum for future-oriented special issues: visitors will find concrete examples of approaches and solutions which are applied in practice. Among other things, companies will present their most recent innovations against food loss in the production chain.
