Sustainable bundling

Saving plastic in the vegetable industry
Nowadays, vegetables are often individually wrapped in plastic film before being transported to the supermarket. This makes it easy to sell the products individually, but it also means that plastic consumption is unnecessarily high. A Strepper® can be used to replace the plastic around the vegetables. This saves up to 83% plastic. A label can be attached to the Strepper® to record any important information.

Replace cable ties
Cable ties are often used to bundle cables or other products. These ties are usually made of hard plastic. After use, cable ties are not recycled, which means they can end up in the wild and harm nature. In addition to the nature of the cable ties, there is also the risk of the cable ties drying out. For example, a large amount of purchased cable ties may become unusable and need to be replaced. Fortunately, most products that are bundled with cable ties or twist wraps can also be bundled with elastic rings. Our AXRO IN-2 elastic tie bundles spiral cables, reducing the use of plastic.

Automate bundling
We often see that bundling products involves a lot of physical labor. Products are collected, weighed and placed in trays for bundling. Bundling products is also often done by hand, making the entire process very labor intensive. Fortunately, this entire process can be automated with conveyor belts and elastic binders. You can also choose to automate only the bundling process by investing in an elastic binder and inserting it into the existing packaging line. Our range consists of many different types of elastic binders in every price range, so there is a suitable elastic binder for every company.
