Kawasaki Robotics GmbH

Together with partners ECOMA Maschinen GmbH and CSB-System SE, the industrial robot manufacturer presents a completely integrated production line for packing and palletizing tasks in food production

Neuss, Germany, March 6, 2023 - Kawasaki Robotics EMEA, together with its partners ECOMA Maschinen GmbH and CSB-System SE, will present two intuitive, integrated and effective automation solutions for packing and palletizing tasks as part of a complete production line at Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 4-10 (Hall 6, A 66). With K-PALL, Kawasaki Robotics offers a compact and powerful robotic solution for fully automatic palletizing: Easy to commission, space-saving and flexible. K-PALL is precisely tailored to the requirements of SMEs and makes the first step into the automation of palletizing tasks as simple, intuitive and effective as possible.

Optimum integration for smooth and efficient production

CSB-System and ECOMA ensure optimal integration of K-PALL so that all production-dependent information can be exchanged and managed with CSB's ERP system. This includes, for example, packing patterns, production orders, error statuses or order changes. The result is complete traceability with full process control - from the carton to the finished pallet.

Maximum performance for the food industry: Automated tray packer

In addition to K-PALL, Kawasaki Robotics, ECOMA and CSB will present the latest version of their tray packer solution, which has been successful in the food industry, as part of a complete production line: Priced and customer-labeled trays are detected by a camera system and picked up, grouped and packed into designated trays by a Kawasaki Robotics RS007L high-performance robot at 30 cycles per minute. The standard version of the tray packer thus even achieves 60 processed trays per minute. Each full tray is then fed by conveyor to K-PALL, where the trays are automatically palletized and prepared for removal. With a sophisticated design, intuitive operation via touchscreen and robust construction, the tray packer like K-PALL is an ideal step into automation.
