“UKRPLASTIC” company received the most prestigious award in the professional print industry “The Best of the Best Packaging.” Samples of products presented by the company at “Golden Cylinder Awards2013”international competition allowed Ukraine to receive the Grand Prize and become a winner in three categories. The jury noted the excellent technological level of overprinting and unconventional approach of the Ukrainian specialists to solving design problems while creating flexible packaging materials.

The annual competition among professional printers was launched by GAA, Gravure Association of America in 1981. Globally renowned specialists and industry experts with impeccable reputation are invited to assess participants’ level. GAA’s competent jury evaluates samples of products of more than 500 printing companies of the USA, Canada and Europe identifying the best quality performance and innovative technology solutions. The main intrigue of the competition and its culmination is the award of the Grand Prize, “The Best of the Best Packaging.” The winner of this award is announced only at the awarding ceremony and it becomes the leader of the market.

This year “UKRPLASTIC” was unanimously awarded with “The Best of the Best Packaging” title for “Nescafé Espresso” coffee packaging. Due to high professional level of employees and advanced technological equipment, ideal combination of colours and individual elements in the layout were achieved. The unique charm of packaging was provided by the technology of compound selective lacquering and combination of glossy and matte surfaces. The packaging looks like a natural paper package while retaining the functionality and performance of the flexible packaging material.
