PARIS, France — April 9, 2014 — On 6th December, ARCIL's staff welcomed their new CEO, Bob Chapman, together with the main shareholders and senior management of the Barry-Wehmiller Group in Arcil’s plant in Puiseux-Pontoise near Paris.

Synerlink, the engineering business created by Arcil in 2009, forms the basis of US-based Barry-Wehmiller's new Dairy Packaging unit.

Arcil is already a leader in the US yogurt FFS packaging market and is now the 6th packaging unit of this industrial packaging mechanization group accounting for $1.6 billion and with over 7,500 team members.

Chapman’s first meeting explained Arcil’s new position within Barry-Wehmiller, as well as Barry-Wehmiller’s corporate culture of people-centric leadership.

Sold by the Danone group upon request by its management team, Arcil is happy to work more easily with Danone's competitors. In fact, Arcil sales shares with Danone’s competitors, already about 35%, are anticipated to double in the coming years.

Barry-Wehmiller’s financial strength will allow ARCIL and its division Synerlink to relaunch its development and acquisition strategy in order to offer innovative and effective turnkey solutions on the fresh dairy product market.
