WIS Kunststoffe GmbH receives FDA approval for rPP in food applications

WIS Kunststoffe GmbH has received an official letter (Prenotification Consultation, PNC No. 3282) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirming the suitability of the company's own recycling process. This confirms that the recycled polypropylene (rPP) produced is suitable for contact with food.

The FDA confirms that the rPP from WIS can be used as PCR material for the manufacture of articles that come into contact with all types of food under conditions E to G in accordance with FDA regulations.

WIS Kunststoffe thus fulfills the highest international requirements for the use of rPP in food applications and strengthens its position as an innovative provider of sustainable plastic solutions.
