Discover the sustainable future of packaging with bioplastics at the International Conference on Bioplastics and Packaging: bio!PAC 2023.
Conventional fossil-based plastics have a significant impact on the environment. Here, bioplastics can offer a sustainable alternative. These innovative materials can be made from bio-based, bio-waste or renewable resources and are recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. They also offer innovative features and beneficial new barrier properties.
At bio!PAC 2023, participants will have the opportunity to discuss with experts from all areas of the bioplastics and packaging industry. Topics such as end-of-life options, consumer behaviour and the availability of agricultural land for material use compared to food and feed, among others, will be addressed. The conference will focus on recycled packaging, which is based on bio-based and recycled raw materials and brings real environmental benefits.
The two-day conference will take place on 8 and 9 May 2023 in the Conference Centre (above Hall 1) at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre during Interpack 2023. The hybrid event will be recorded and made available for convenient viewing (video-on-demand) for at least one month after the event, and all presentations will also be made available as PDFs.
Participants will be able to use the WHOVA app and platform to network and exchange ideas with other industry experts before, during and after the conference.
