Highlights in the Spotlight Forum on 8 May

08.05.2023 - DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES - The future is now.
On Monday, the lecture programme will focus on digitalisation. Digital innovations will be presented and new business models such as "Pay per Outcome" will be discussed. A representative of the European Commission will speak about the political starting point for packaging and waste and its impact on the manufacturing industry.

11.35 am: The EU Commission's Proposal for a Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste - Ready for Digital Technologies? (Dr. Wolfgang Trunk, Europäische Kommission)

2.30 pm: Pay per Outcome – a new marketing model for a manufacturer of special machinery.(Thomas Fuest, SN Maschinenbau, Bernhard Wieczorek, Siemens AG)

Women in packaging

They exist - the "Women in Packaging", but still too few women are present in the industry, too few make it to the executive floors. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled workers, valuable potential often remains untapped.

Together with the WPO, interpack invites you to a panel discussion followed by networking on 8 May. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their professional network, be inspired by other women and exchange experiences.
