Personal data may be collected as part of the game “INTERPACKMAN”. Messe Düsseldorf GmbH’s data privacy information applies (https://www.messe-duesseldorf.com/Privacy_policy_2).
- Subject of the processing
INTERPACKMAN is provided as a web application on the website of interpack 2023. In order to use INTERPACKMAN, the user must enter a user name. Here, the user has the option of using a pseudonym. Stating a real name is not necessary.
If personal data is entered, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH will use this data to
- issue a public high score list.
The high score list consists of stated user names.
In addition, players have the option of sharing their high scores via a link on their own social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn exclusively).
The legal basis for processing personal data is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
- Recipients of personal data
If personal data is collected, it shall be stored on the server leased by the game developer (server location: Germany). There shall be no transmission of personal data to third countries.
- Retention period
All data (including personal data) shall be completely erased at the latest after the end of interpack 2023.
