Machines and equipment for the processing of other food products (e.g. coffee processing, production of ice cream, etc.)

Food packaging in particular has seen a lot of movement in recent years. As in other areas, manufacturers are increasingly using packaging made from renewable or recycled raw materials, whether paper or recycled material. An ongoing issue is the use of mono-materials. In any case, machine builders must make sure that these materials can be processed perfectly on their equipment. For better material savings, machines are also needed that can reduce any offcuts or other waste in production to a minimum. Not a trend, but always important, is the topic of food safety. More precise safety systems allow manufacturers to remove defective goods in a controlled manner instead of having to destroy an entire batch.

In the food industry, especially in the production of various treats such as coffee and ice cream, the further development of process and packaging technologies is crucial. Coffee processing, for example, has made considerable progress in recent years. Modern processing machines are not only capable of roasting immense quantities of coffee beans, they are also equipped with sophisticated sensor technologies. These make it possible to fine-tune the aroma and flavour to perfection.

In the field of ice cream production, innovative freezing and mixing technologies are revolutionising the landscape. The latest process technologies can precisely match creaminess and texture, resulting in a superior flavour experience for ice cream lovers.

Sustainable packaging solutions are also essential. For example, bio-based and recyclable materials are playing an increasingly important role. The technologies behind this are designed to minimise environmental impact while ensuring food safety. In the case of ice cream, the focus is also on insulating packaging in order to maintain the quality of the product in optimum condition from the moment it is filled to the moment it is consumed.
Controlled by advanced automation systems and Industry 4.0, these process and packaging machines are able to increase production capacity while maintaining or improving quality. They contribute to better traceability and increase food safety while reducing reliance on manual labour and potential human error.

The combination of modern processing technologies, sustainable packaging concepts and advanced automation in the production of food products such as coffee and ice cream is therefore an exciting development, the latest achievements of which can be experienced in our exhibition halls.
