A case sealer consists of a metal basic structure reinforced with a lower sealing head inserted in a section of metal rollers that is in turn attached to a metallic bridge that supports the upper sealing head. Boxes already formed are taken by a belt system which conveys longitudinally through the machine for fast closing lower and upper flaps. After that the box is formed and sealed. The adjustment in height and width is manual.
The top sheet dispenser completely covers the pallet with a layer of plastic, depending on the product's need.
Dust proof cycle: for this type of cycle the dispenser can be placed in line with pallet conveyors or before the stretch wrapper. With the top sheet dispenser the pallet is covered and, after that, the stretch wrapper gets it wrapped. Consequently, the load is protected against dust.
Rain proof cycle: The film reel-holder performs the cycle of wrapping except when reel-holder is above, the cycle is interrupted. The top sheet dispenser covers the pallet and then continues the cycle of wrapping up. Finally, the load is completely protected from dust and rain.
The company sets its goals in the world of packaging machinery, namely stretch wrappers for palletized loads, both fully automatic and semiautomatic. PACKAGING
To differentiate us from others in the sector "PACK", a brand new "EAR-FLAP" was registered for the entire European Union.
Why EAR FLAP? Is that a suitable name for a machinery company? How do you like calling a computer apple? Obviously, the name EAR FLAP deserves an explanation.
When thinking of the wrappers' design, the idea was to make them different from the rest. How to do that?
The most visible part of a wrapper is its mast; it may be square, triangular or rectangular, with sharp or soft edges. But there were already in the market. Then, we had the vision…
We would make the mast with this section and, curiously enough, while searching for a name, a sheet of paper covered half the image and in a funny way it looked like Mickey Mouse with its big ears. From here to EAR FLAP was a short step.
