The Kamido range

The bin-picking Kamido robot, made for picking random objects, adapts its gestures to an infinite number of positions! Stacked, tangled, diverse products.... even with only partial visibility Kamido identifies and picks your loose products, and those in piles or containers. At each picking when these products move the Siléane Reflex technology enables the robot to follow their new positions in real time.

Kamido, the compact robot for industrial bin picking.
Bin picking, bulk picking, distribution, machine loading, sorting, and picking... Wherever you need to bin pick piles of objects in containers, boxes or flows, Kamido is scalable depending on the size of your products and your application environment. Amongst other things this makes a maximum reduction in its space requirements possible.

How does it work? What bulk thickness and what rate?
Kamido is a robot with several hands, fitted with Siléane Reflex 3D technology. Kamido works easily on different bulk thicknesses up to 600 mm as standard, and determines the best product to extract during the procedure in real time. For example, for light, fairly thin loose products in an almost flat pile, Kamido is able to reach rates higher than 100 strokes a minute with the Delta arms.

Kamido learns all by itself!
Above all Kamido does not need geometric models or CAD, or outside assistance to deal with your diverse products. It is also to select the best gripping tool and decide by itself if the product should be extracted with a suction cup or forceps and in what direction.

Numerous applications in both production and logistics.
Bin picking, distribution, sorting.
Kamido is ideal for loading your machines from bulk, whether it is partially spread out on a conveyor or directly in piles in a container.

As a flexible system for bulk picking, Kamido is therefore a real alternative to traditional distribution systems. It cleverly replaces or lightens mechanisation such as vibratory systems or bowls, cascade conveyors... often devoted to a single product type and relatively complex to develop.

Picking, order preparation.
Kamido is also an invaluable ally for your order preparation processes. It can pick your various objects in bulk into as many boxes and gravity racks as necessary to make up your shipping batches automatically.

The Rovaldy Range

The first thing to point out is that in most workshops performing surface treatment of plastics and metals via electrolysis, you will find that everything, or almost everything, is automated. By contrast, the parts are still attached and removed manually before and after they are treated in the baths.

Rovaldy automates mounting on racks: just think about the potential benefits!
Rovaldy is a line of robots specifically designed for workshops performing surface treatment via galvanization. An automated line of robots for attaching or removing items on various supports (single-sided or double-sided racks, loop-type holders, satellites, rods, etc.), which adapts in real time to the various geometric profiles of your products and significantly reduces your production times - everything can be fully automated and configured. By adopting a creative approach to automating gestures, we can help you reduce or even eliminate 'additional costs'.
The potential benefits in terms of productivity, effort, and reliability cannot be ignored.

Adaptivity, flexibility, and modularity
These Rovaldy robotized lines adapt to the geometric profiles of any part or product (cosmetics, packaging, watches, connectors, automobile parts, etc.), making even the most complex operations possible.

The Vision 3D technology developed by Siléane ensures that, in any given situation, the machines analyse the surrounding 3D space in real time: the trajectory for depositing items is adjusted in line with the exact position of the supports in space (clamps, pins, blades, etc.) using an algorithm for recalculating their precise geometry in real time. The machines then adjust their trajectories automatically and simultaneously to reproduce identically the full subtlety of human gestures.

The second point to make, although this is hardly a secret, is just how often production changes can occur in workshops performing surface treatment, galvanization, or metallization. Rovaldy machines, thanks to their flexibility, are able to reconfigure themselves automatically in less than a minute without any human intervention. The robot arms are fitted with tool magazine changers, while the various trajectory and vision parameters are known from a database.

Rovaldy, whatever your application
The modularity of the machines means you can set up lines which are perfectly adapted to the way your workshops are laid out. A Rovaldy line is made up of 3 modules: a module for handling supports, another consisting of one or more robots for attaching parts, and a final module for loading and unloading parts. Depending on the trajectory to be executed, the mounting rate is between 1.5 and 2.5 seconds for each part and each robot arm.

Simple, intuitive operation
In short, everything about ROVALDY machines has been designed to make creating and learning about a new item both easy and intuitive, and something you can do all on your own.

The Flowpick range

Flowpick: our high-rate pick & place robots and lines, which work on a continuous flow basis (picking, matching, assembly, packing, boxing, loading, unloading of machines, sorting, control, etc.), are able to handle the most delicate products without ever damaging or deforming them.

Flowpick manages random behaviour for high-rate pick & place applications
Flowpick robotic machines from Siléane are able to manage random flows, as well as fresh and fragile products. They can sort, calibrate, handle, and pack all sorts of products with unpredictable behaviour at high speeds, largely thanks to VRT (Vision, Robot, Tracking) technology.

Powerful software for balancing and monitoring flows manages the multi-robot configurations. At the heart of things, the FLOWPICK VRT (Vision, Robot, Tracking) core makes it possible to adapt the robot trajectories in real time and in a closed loop arrangement to any random product behaviour and product flow speeds sometimes in excess of 50 m/min.

These robotized lines created by Siléane can therefore adapt to all kinds of industries (food processing, glassware, pharmaceuticals, recycling, automotive, etc.) and a wide range of products (fruit, chocolates, cheeses, containers, trays, sachets, etc.).

For these applications, Siléane uses its Flowpick range of adaptive machines to deal with picking, fixed-weight matching, assembly, packing, boxing, loading, unloading machines, sorting, control, etc. With a proven track record in terms of reliability and return on investment, they can give your processing and packaging lines a real shot in the arm.

Flowpick, whatever your application
The various models, Flowpick 5, Flowpick 10, and Flowpick 15, have been designed with flexibility in mind. Flowpick comes in either a mono or dual version (with one or two arms) capable of reaching rates of 50 to 300 cycles per minute (cpm) and features arms from some of the major brands:

Flowpick 5: Polyarticulated 6 axes - 50 cpm - loads of 0 to 10 kg
Flowpick 10: Scara 4 axes - max 100 cpm - 1 to 5 kg
Flowpick 15: Delta 4 axes - max 150 cpm - light loads
Our FLOWPICK machines are both modular and flexible to give you greater autonomy. Thanks to a simple and intuitive user interface, you can set parameters for accessing the various FLOWPICK functions so you can configure both your application and production in terms of products, vision control, flow rules, tools, cycles, schedules for depositing items, etc.

About us

Company details

Technology, processes, engineering, and humanity: these are the 4 areas where each person at our company gives the best of themselves, with the emphasis on creativity and sustainability.
Mutual benefits inevitably foster loyalty
Although our expertise is certainly geared towards the future in terms of technical developments and innovation, our culture will always remain ‘rooted’ in reality. Reasonable, pragmatic, and informed by actual results which cannot lie, this philosophy is behind everything we do.

After the CAD stage, the designs, and the quest for unusual ideas, our obsession is that things actually works, whatever happens and whatever the circumstances. The men and women who make up our company are open, direct, and rigorous. Their aim is clear: to provide the solution or service which translates into a positive return on investment (ROI), while fully complying with your specifications and the contract you entrusted to them.

Steadily but surely, we are making progress and gaining recognition for our ability to ‘think outside the box’ and challenge conventions, but with the emphasis always on specifics and the realities of industry.
