  • Absolute reliability and supply dependability
Tireless shaping and forming – for more than 60 years
In 1948 Dr. Günther Kaupert began manufacturing the first chocolate moulds from metal. He was inspired when company founder Alfred Bodderas from Lüdenscheid told him about an unpaid tooling for a chocolate manufacturer. The Erndtebrück Operation had been founded during the last war for fear of the Allied bombardments, in order to protect machines and production. In 1958, Erndtebrück became an independent operation.

Growing Success for Kaupert
In June 1955, Dr. Günther Kaupert began with the manufacture of pre-embossed packaging according to his own patents. Soon after, a new factory was erected in Marburg. It was the year 1958. Prior, there had already been licensed productions in Vienna (Austria) Bristol (UK) and Harleysville, PA (USA). In 1961, the factory was expanded with a second production hall. 1986 saw the start of the in-house manufacture of plastic film and in 1993 the steady growth lead to the foundation of the dedicated factory for plastic technology in Schameder.

Today, Kaupert produces chocolate moulds, thermoformed packaging and additional products from plastics in 3 factories. Rolf Sturm-Kaupert, son-in-law of Dr. Günther Kaupert, has been leading the company since 1978.
