FMH Conveyors Americas Announces Opening of New Facility in Jonesboro, AR

Leading material handling equipment provider, FMH Conveyors Americas, prepares for future growth by investing in a new 195,000 square foot building.

Jonesboro, AR – February 14, 2017 – FMH Conveyors Americas, a global leader in material handling equipment for fluid truck loading and unloading applications, announced the completion of their new 195,000 square foot building located at 9701 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR today. The facility is officially open for business and a grand opening ceremony will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017.

The new site, which serves as the company headquarters, allows FMH Conveyors Americas to expand their capacity and consolidate all United States manufacturing in a single facility. Prior to the new building opening, FMH Conveyors Americas was headquartered in Suwanee, GA with manufacturing facilities in Hampton, VA and Jonesboro, AR.

The opening of the new building created 110 new jobs. “We are very excited to expand our business here in Jonesboro,” said Kurt Huelsman, President of FMH Conveyors Americas. “Jonesboro offered many attractive incentives, not to mention its central location, skilled workforce and supply chain resources. It was definitely the right business decision, and the community has been very welcoming.”

Marlen International acquires Afoheat, an innovative provider of gas powered heating, roasting, searing and grilling equipment solutions for the food industry

Marlen International, Inc., a global manufacturer of highly engineered food processing equipment and systems, and a subsidiary of Chicago-based Duravant LLC, has acquired Afoheat, adding a new set of continuous thermal processing technologies to their existing batch thermal solutions. The acquisition enhances their ability to serve a more diverse customer base while drawing on the strong reputation of the Marlen and Afoheat brands.

Headquartered in Veurne, Belgium, Afoheat has built a strong reputation with food processors in many parts of the world as the premiere provider of efficient, reliable, sanitary and flexible solutions for searing, char-marking and grilling of high quality food products on an industrial scale. Duravant Acquires Arpac Expanding Their Secondary Packaging Equipment and Integration Capabilities
