Biaxial Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films are manufactured out of polypropylene by casting into film and further stretching it into the machine and cross directions. The BOPP films have excellent clarity and smooth surface, good chemical and abrasion resistance. Selected BOPP films also provide resistance to UV light. These films are preferred to achieve good moisture barrier.
Chiripal Poly Films offers a wide range of BOPP films in transparent, metallized, cavitated white/pearlised, crystal clear, matt, solid white from 8 to 60 micron.
Metallized films enhance the aesthetics (metallic effect) and barrier properties of the film, making it more suitable to use the packaging to improve the shelf life of the product. Metallization is done on the treated surface of the film to have good adhesion with metal. The metal deposition measurement is done by the optical density level, which in turn gives different barrier levels.

BOPET films are preferred for its easy processing, and to achieve good oxygen barrier. BOPET primed films are used to achieve improved adhesions with ink, adhesive, and aluminum metallization. This film has excellent clarity, good stiffness, smooth surface, good chemical and abrasion resistance.

Coated films are the offline process of coating the aqueous/solvent based chemicals enhancing specific properties in the film. Common coated films enhance the barrier, runnability, heat sealing range, and its used in some specific applications like overwraps, special printing applications, cheese packaging, etc. This can be achieved by different coatings like PVDC, acrylics, and many other coatings.
Chiripal Poly Films is under the process of erection of the new state of art new coating facility of German Technology. The company plans to produce PVDC coated films, BOPP and BOPET coated films, acrylic coated BOPP, low-temperature seal BOPP, and much more.

Chiripal Poly Films is an Indian leading manufacturer of packaging solutions, producing BOPP& BOPET films, and PET resins. It was founded in August 2009, and started production operations in January 2012 installing its first production line of BOPP films with German technology in Ahmedabad (western India), with easy and fast access to Mundra, Mumbai, and Pipalav sea ports.
