Patented safety The SFC System, developed and patented by us in 2004, is used as a closure system for pharmaceutical bags made of polyolefin materials. In addition to the classic applications with infusion bags, use for diverse other solutions such as antibiotics, cytostatics, flushing solutions, dialysis systems and parenteral nutrition are feasible.
Thanks to the innovative shape of the port, optimum bonding is achieved, which minimises the risk of leakages. Due to the minimised use of rubber in the SFC system, the cost structure is appropriately optimised in terms of the use of materials – resulting in economic advantages.
The shape and the materials used make the products very simple and safe for end users.

Flexible in use Developed as a closure for PP bottles, the MFC Cap can be used for diverse applications such as standard infusions, antibiotics, cytostatics, flushing solutions and for dialysis. Made of Medical Grade PP with a latex-free rubber plug, the design contributes towards the reduction of weight with simultaneous optimisation of the costs, without putting the increased process reliability of the pharmaceutical packaging components at risk.

Since 2011, Colpitt, a Dutch company founded in 1946, has belonged to the PLÜMAT family and ideally supplements the product range for the pharmaceutical industry with their high-frequency welding technology (HF). The HF welding technology is mainly used in applications for blood bag systems of all usual configurations. Furthermore, sampling bags and protected ports for blood bag systems, CAPD flush solution bags, CAPD drainage bags, infusion bags and generally all other bags made from PVC or EVA materials can be manufactured. In the PLÜMAT Group, Colpitt is integrated as a technology and service center for HF welding technology.

PLÜMAT packaging Systems has the task of developing and producing custom-made packaging concepts and plastic components for the pharmaceutical industry. Production takes place using the most modern injection-moulding tools and fully automated assembly machines in clean rooms according to GMP classification C /D.
