GMS 500 singlecut

The multi-functional portioning system. The GMS 500 portions almost all types of red meat, with slice accuracy and high yield.

Operating method
• One or multiple pieces of meat are filled into the
  cavity of the mould revolver
• The cavity then rotates towards the cutting-
  position
• The meat is perfectly formed and pressed in
  longitudinal direction.
                                                                            
• The GMS 500 then portions the first slice
  in wasteless mode or if required with
  a minimum trim
• The piston indexes to the next slice thick-
  ness and the next cut is made continuously
• After the last cut the mould- revolver indexes
  quickly for the next cycle.

The GMS 1200 portions any type of red meat, of any consistency and cut type, optimally in terms of weight and minimal to no trim.

Operating method
• Multiple pieces of meat are placed
  onto the conveyor belt (buffer function).
• Then they are transported individually to the
  weighing conveyor.
• The piece of meat is transported from the
  weighing conveyor to the U-shaped mold.
• The upper unit with the C-shaped mold
  moves down and shapes the meat in the
  U-mold into an oval-shaped cross section.
                                                                            
• Then, the input piston presses the piece of meat
   against the discharge piston, squaring the edges
   of the meat.
• Once the piece of meat has reached the calculated
   cutting position, the spiral blade cuts the first piece.
• When the blade is back in the starting position,
   the meat is automatically moved to the next cutting
   position.
• After cutting is complete, the block of slices is pushed
  out onto the discharge conveyor during the next
  compression cycle.
