Groba was set up in 1977 and the production of machines for cheese processing soon became its focus. At the time, Groba made a major contribution to the start of mechanical cheese processing at a lot of Dutch cheese enterprises.
Forty years later, Groba operates internationally with 40 members of staff and a group of loyal suppliers for cheese-processing enterprises all over the world. As a company, we are very proud of this and this would not have succeeded without the trust and confidence of our customers and clients.
In 1977 Groba launched its first cutting machine designed specifically for the cheese processing industry and thus formed the foundations for Groba B.V. Today, Groba has an extensive range of high-quality machines for derinding, unpacking, cutting, portioning cubing and shredding cheeses.
In November 2012 Groba acquired all cheese related activities of Hendriks Hands-Free Cheesehandling. In recent years Groba has expanded its market considerably and invested in a worldwide network of agents. Today, more than 85% of Groba's production goes to overseas clients, in more than 50 countries around the globe.
