The company Dedy GmbH was founded in 1946 by Wilhelm Dedy Senior. Since then this family-owned enterprise, now in the third generation, has been making confectionery and chocolate making machines for small craft companies as well as large-scale ones.

The Dedy enrobing machines with a belt width of 120mm, 220 mm, 320 mm and 420mm are movable (only the 120mm model is a table top model) and suitable for all enrobing jobs. They have a capacity of approximately 20 kg chocolate; which can be expanded to a total of approximately 60 kg dissolved chocolate by means of two under mounted, heated troughs. Pastries of all kinds and cakes up to a height of approximately 12 cm, as well as cream cheese and dates can be enrobed with chocolate coating, fudge, sugar icing or glaze. All parts of the machine are designed so as to be very easy to clean, extremely robust and user-friendly. The latest improvement concerning the Dedy enrober is, that the enrobers are now equipped with a drain cock to facilitate the cleaning of the machine, the exchanging of the chocolate and also the taking out off the tanks for thorough cleaning and they got a better insulation in order to minimize the heat loss.
Total enrobing, bottom enrobing, combined bottom, side and partial enrobing are possible. The machines are supplied according to specific customer wishes either with short take-off tables and paper, special take-off tables with photo eye (stop-and-go for batch working) or with cooling tunnel.
The latest improvement in the Dedy Enrobers 220mm and 320mm is, that they are now equipped with a drain cock to facilitate cleaning of the machine, change of chocolate and also removal of the tanks for thorough cleaning. And the machines have been given a better insulation to minimize heat loss.
A new highlight is the Dedy glassy cooling tunnel, which makes it possible to show the complete manufacturing process from putting on the f.e. truffles on the belt, enrobing them with chocolate, see them running through the glassy cooling tunnel until the finished product will be taken off.
In addition to manufacturing chocolate enrobing machines and cooling tunnels, Dedy specializes in the production of chocolate melting (30 kg, 60 kg, 150 kg, 250 kg) and tempering kettles (30kg, 60kg, 150kg), praline cutters, cookie cutters and small devices for chocolate processing.
New is a Dedy mini-moulding machine with a capacity of about 23kg of chocolate with a vibrating table.
What is special about Dedy machines is the fact that their manufacture is backed by decades of know-how and experience and that they are being constantly improved. Even individual customer wishes can always be taken into account.
