PRINT & APPLY

System for product traceability

SHEET
In addition to the wide range of linear self-adhesive labellers, Packlab offers the Print & Apply system for product traceability. An efficient system that prints and applies the label directly on any kind of packaging.

The Packlab Print & Apply system is available in two versions: the first one, with a pneumatic piston for speeds up to 1,200 p/h, allows applying the label that has been just printed on stationary or moving products, even if they are not aligned on the conveyor. The second one, with a direct-contact system and for speeds up to 9,000 p/h, is suitable for the application of labels on moving products, aligned on the conveyor, even at different production speeds.

The printing method employed is the thermal transfer system and both models can apply the label on the top and on the side of the packaging. Moreover, the second version is available with an articulated applicator to apply labels on the corner of the package.

Packlab's Print & Apply machines can print both linear and 2D datamatrix barcodes, as well as bespoke graphics.

- Production speed: up to 9,000 pph, depending on the model.

- with pneumatic piston or direct-contact system

- thermal transfer printing on the top, side or bottom of the packaging

PHARMALINE

Self-adhesive linear labelling machine for pharmaceutical sectorsuitable for speeds from 1,000 to 6,000 bph

SHEET
The PHARMALINE model has been created to meet the needs of pharmaceutical companies in terms of product traceability. Fitted with a sophisticated monitoring and rejection system, this labelling machine prints the labels and checks the printing quality by rejecting non-compliant labels before they are applied on the product. This solves problems related to discarding containers due to labels that have not been printed correctly and make it easier to trace rejected labels in accordance with pharmaceutical laws. Available for speeds up to 100 ppm, PHARMALINE can apply a partial or wrap-around body label on cylindrical containers.

- Production speed: from 1,000 to 6,000 bph.

- For cylindrical containers with no positioning

- System to apply just one partial or wrap-around label on small bottles from 20ml to 500ml

- Base unit with external labelling station, fully open base unit.

- System that rejects “incorrect” labels before feeding them, with recovery reel for traceability and verification of rejected labels.

About us

Company details

Packlab, a company part of the P.E. LABELLERS group, specialises in the production of self-adhesive labelling systems. It was founded by a team of technicians and professionals with 20 years of experience in the labelling and packaging field. Thanks to a highly specialised technical and electronic department, Packlab can provide ad-hoc solutions to meet any self-adhesive application requirement. It has a number of international clients in all manufacturing sectors, such as the cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, as well as in the beverages, wine and spirits market.

A great benefit of Packlab's self-adhesive linear labellers is the absence of equipment for different formats, which ensures considerable savings for clients who need to label containers of different shapes and sizes.
