Vormenfabriek tilburg manufactures a wide range of polycarbonate moulds, for use on very large automatic chocolate moulding lines down to small semi-automatic or hand operations.

The moulds are produced by injection moulding machines with clamping forces ranging between 800 – 2500 tons, to ensure that the moulds are made with the minimum level of internal stress.  All moulds are manufactured from a food approved polycarbonate and guarantee excellent demoulding and high-gloss finish to the chocolate product. The injection moulds are available in sizes ranging from 275 x 135 mm up to a length of 2000 mm.

The range of our moulds comprises single and double moulds, cold stamp/frozen cone and skeletonized moulds, coating pans, demoulding plaques, transport frames and special starch trays. In total there are more than 625 standard mould dimensions and constructions available. This also includes our unique strong rounded mould construction (no chipping).
In addition we can execute the moulds in 12 standard colours with options like laser engraving, RFID chip, retractable centering pins, and ultrasonically welded magnets.

Our moulds are available in three different materials: standard polycarbonate, Vofalon (most popular choice, for higher impact strength and improved chemical resistance) and EXL (best demoulding capabilities).

Thermoformed moulds can be produced in the dimensions and mould designs according to your production method and equipment. The durable polycarbonate sheet which is used for the thermoforming process, has a high impact strength and excellent crack propagation resistance.

Our thermoform press has a unique thermoforming technology which enables us to identify every single detail in the mould and will therefore copy this into your chocolate bunny, egg or any other hollow figure.

All the spinning and double moulds are provided with very powerful and fully enclosed magnets. To make the moulds absolutely leakage proof, each cavity has a well designed raised sealing rim.

The range of polycarbonate thermoformed moulds covers one-shot deposit moulds, spinning moulds, trays and single sheets (from 0.75 to 3mm). For the best operation magnets, positioning pins, and corrosion free metal foot (when needed) are included. For different production methods we have polycarbonate sheets in various thicknesses.

For small-and medium sized companies we supply an economical version for seasonal chocolate production. This consists of a polycarbonate frame with removable polycarbonate thin sheets (0.75 and 1 mm). There are several standard cavity layouts available to suit your requirements and depositor configuration. The frames are available for Knobel or Awema production lines, and for other lines at request. The sheet will fit in the frame with pins and secure, accurate decorating possibility as well as fast cooling.

Silicone rubber moulds are used for the production of certain toffee, caramel, fondant, hard boiled candy and other more or less sticky products. The flexibility of the material ensures that nearly every product can be demoulded. The silicone rubber moulds are produced in accordance with our in-house developed production method and equipment. 

Each mould consists of a polycarbonate frame with one, or more silicone rubber inserts. Stand alone inserts are also available. Each inserts has a corrosion free metal, aluminium or polycarbonate frame that will be fully covered with silicone rubber. 
The fame and insert/inserts are attached via plastic pins for easy operation, and smooth surface. Alternatively we can offer a bolts and nuts combination. Whatever you select, you will have a unique custom made solution that will last for a long period.

We are using the best quality food approved rubber to make the moulds durable, flexible and strong. The frame size can vary from 175 x 135 mm up to 800 x 400 mm. The silicone rubber can hold temperatures between minus 50 and plus 180 degrees Celsius.

Wall thickness can be varied depending on your product requirements, which makes the cavity either more flexible or more rigid. Different scales of hardness (shore) of the silicone rubber can be applied to get the best results for your products.
