Tubular bags are co-extruded in one sole production process in 3 or 5 layers (PA/PE or PE/PA/PE) at very high temperatures. HEVEL only produces the 3-layer model for vacuum bags. This gives less leakage.
From this tubular film, bags are cut to measure and sealed with one sole bottom-seal. When the bag is held against the light, vertical extrusion-stripes can be seen.
Only one seal.
Less chance of folds.
The bags are flexible and have more stretch, so less leakage caused by sharp products.
The bags are clear.
Extra advantages from tubular bags produced by HEVEL:
An aseptic interior by means of an Absolute filter. The manufacturing process is monitored by Eurofins Food Netherlands B.V.
The bags are produced under HACCP-controlled conditions. HEVEL is ISO 22000 certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.
The raw materials used are of good, constant quality.
Co-extruding ánd bag-making on the most modern, computerized high-tech production lines.
Long-term experience in the production of vacuum bags and thermo-forming films (since 1975)
Generally spoken, side-seal bags are made of Polyethelene film, upon which outside Nylon film is sticked. This is called lamination. This flat laminated film is then sealed to measure with 2 or 3 seals. When the bag is held against the light, the lamination print can easily be seen.
The sticklayer can let loose (de-lamination), especially in the deep-freezer.
The seal is always the weak spot in vacuum bags. The more seals, the more weak spots.
The chance of folds occuring in the customers seal is considerably higher. This leads to more leakage.
The film is harder, which causes bones to prick through more easily.
The bags look troubled due to the lamination print.
Side-seal laminated bags by nature contain a lot of bacteria on the inside.
The purpose of vacuum packing is to preserve the quality of the product as good and as long as possible, and to ensure that the taste, flavour and colour are not lost. The vacuum bag is a very underestimated product, even though it plays an important part in ensuring the quality of the end-product.
With this vision, HEVEL VACUUM BV has been producing vacuum bags and films since 1975, always according to the latest international laws and regulations. The production of the vacuum bags is done in a hyper-modern factory, and always with the latest technique, so that the customer is able to achieve the utmost in vacuum packing.
The continuous quality is guaranteed by the use of only first-rate materials. Even the ink that is used to print and colour the bags, measures up to the latest rules and regulations.
