NEW stainless steel vacuum cooling system, with access platform.

This system ‘flash' cools / de-aerate product continuously while delivering increased productivity through long runs minimising product build up, superior product density management and low maintenance needs.

‘Flash cooling’ removes heat, moisture and entrained air from the product prior to filling, producing a consistent product density.

We offer a range of continuous cooling options.

The vacuum flash cooling and de-aeration system instantaneously reduces the temperature of the product to a set point.

In addition to cooling the product, entrained air is also removed. This produces a consistent desnity as well as reduces oxidisation and increases colour stablity and shelf life.

A NEW high rate RotaTherm® continuous cooking system is available. The DSI 40 RotaTherm® offers fast even heating of the product in 15-20 sec; the flexibility to adjust and control the processing conditions for each product; and all this from a small footprint (2 x 3m) at 14,000kg per hour.  That is a massive 336 tonne of product a DAY. It can run for 3 days so that means only 1 clean for every 1000 tonne (1 million kilograms) of product.

This high rate RotaTherm® has 40 direct steam injectors on a single cooking column.  This system is an expansion of Gold Peg’s market proven direct steam injection RotaTherm® technology known for fast and flexible superior heating capability.

A sauce manufacturer recently chose the DSI 40 RotaTherm® because it gave their products an obviously fresher and cleaner taste and mouth feel across their extensive 40+ product range.  They said the RotaTherm made their products more ‘flavoursome’!

The RotaTherm® continuous cooker's processing flexibility means it can produce a wide variety of superior food product such as baby food, chunky sauces, processed cheese varieties, vegetable purees, dips, pet food, meat preparations etc.... basically, products that can pass through a pump and cook in a single pass.
