WATER BASED ADHESIVE

To use water based adhesive, simply apply the adhesive onto the surface of the materials to be bonded. Join the 2 materials together to allow the adhesive to become absorbed into the pores of the materials, which will act as an anchorage. Once water has evaporated, and adhesive film will be formed to bond the materials together. Water based adhesive can be used in various applications and industries such as Furniture, Packaging, Carpet, Woodworking, labelling. Currently, our top water based adhesive under the brand IceTechTM has been widely used constantly among leading beverage manufacturers in Thailand and CLMV with the prominent being energy drink and alcoholic beverages where glass bottle labellings are needed.

SOLVENT BASED ADHESIVE

Solvent based adhesives come in a liquid form. The components are usually mixed and dissolved in traditional aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. After applying onto the surface of the materials to be bonded, the solvents in the adhesive will evaporate leaving behind an adhesive film that will bond the two materials together. Selic's solvent based adhesives come in a variety of types, namely Polychloroprene Rubber, Polyurethane, and Styrene-Butadiene Rubber, in order to serve the assortment of industries out there, such as Leather, Footwear, Automotive, Construction, and Furniture & Woodworking. World, KOAT, and ZICCO are solvent based adhesive trademarks that have been a part of Selic for over 25 years, and thus, are well known within the Leather and Footwear industries.
