Flexicon FPC60 - Uniquely configurable fill/finish system

The new peristaltic fill/finish system Flexicon FPC60 offers highly accurate filling from less than 0.2ml up to 100ml. The system fills and caps up to 45 vials per minute. A wide variety of modules are available for the system, allowing users to create their own bespoke filling solution to suit small-batch applications. The modules include vial infeed, filling, stoppering, capping, auto-reject, gas purging and product outfeed.

Capable of handling vial sizes between 2R and 100H the FPC60’s unique servo-driven auto adjustment allows for minimal tools and quicker set-up between batches. Moreover, when supplied with in-line check weighing, the FPC60 offers unique dynamic prime, no-intervention initial calibration and dynamic recalibration, meaning every vial, from first to last, is confirmed to be within specification. With the addition of dynamic prime, users will benefit from no loss of valuable product.

Flexicon PF7 tabletop peristaltic liquid filling machine

The Flexicon PF7 peristaltic tabletop aseptic liquid filling machine is optimized for operation in GMP regulated industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical and diagnostics. The PF7 offers repeatable filling of volumes from as low as 0.2ml up to 250ml, with accuracy better than ±0.5%.

Control could not be easier. The PF7 comes programmed with recommended filling parameters based on Flexicon’s 30 years of experience. Users can adapt filling parameters to achieve optimum accuracy for their application needs, up to 200 user programmable ‘recipes’ can be stored and password protected for future use. A simple and powerful user interface featuring large keys and a colour display aids operation while working in gloves or behind glass within a RABS or LAF unit.

Well connected

Connectivity is another aspect of the PF7 that brings a number of user advantages. For instance, the unit can connect to a range of balances and printers for error-free calibration and batch reporting to help compliance with GMP and regulatory demands. The PF7 will also connect to a variety of bottle handling systems such as the FlexFeed 15, 20, and 30, or other third-party systems, to facilitate integration with automated filling lines. Flexicon’s PF7 comes with a five year warranty, while IQ/OQ documentation is available on request to assist with process validation.

Flexicon showcases semi-automatic FlexFeed30 tabletop filling and capping machine

Flexicon Liquid Filling showcases the new FlexFeed30 (FF30) tabletop liquid filling and capping machine for the pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic industries. The Flexicon FF30 is capable of filling and capping up to 1200 bottles per hour with bottle diameters from 12 to 50mm (up to 110mm high). Standard screw caps, pipette caps or bespoke cap designs up to 50mm diameter (40mm high) are tightened with consistent torque to prevent bottle leaks. The new FF30 offers ease-of-use and improved conformity with GMP standards.

Flexicon Liquid Filling, a division of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group, showcases on stand A37 in hall 16 the successful liquid filling and capping machine FlexFeed 30 (FF30). Compared to previous models, the upgraded FF30 offers an even easier operation. An integrated power outlet allows to directly connect peristaltic fillers such as the Flexicon PF7.

Ergonomic improvements simplify operation of the new FF30. New buttons add to an increased hygiene and are more suitable for a GMP environment.

From a cleanliness and hygiene perspective, the entire fluid path on the FF30 has been designed for single-use, thus preventing cross contamination. At the same time, the machine's small foot print makes it suitable for deployment at different locations within a production facility, including within a laminar airflow (LAF) cabinet.

A complete bottle and cap changeover can be completed in less than 5 minutes. Therefore, the FF30 meets the demands of flexible small batch production.

Flexicon Liquid Filling

About us

Company details

Flexicon Liquid Filling has specialised in aseptic peristaltic filling and capping systems for pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic applications since 1986.
A policy of development and constant product improvement has created a unique, high-quality product range and earned us a
position at the summit of the world market.
The target market is small to medium-sized batch production that requires flexibility, high precision and efficiency.  Flexicon offers a range of products from stand-alone units for hand filling, through semi-automatic systems, to fully automatic filling, stoppering and
capping machines. The fully automatic systems are customised to fit most glass vials, plastic bottles, test tubes, eye-droppers, or non-self standing microtubes.
All machines are designed for use in sterile environments. Flexicon is located in Denmark where all development and production take place and we have a large network of agents and distributors all over the world.
Flexicon joined Watson-Marlow in February 2008 to become part of the world's largest group of companies specialising in peristaltic filling and pumping technology.
