The Little David® CF-25 SB is a fully automatic, industrial grade uniform case erector designed to form and bottom seal corrugated boxes at speeds up to 15 cases per minute. With a minimum case width of 3.5”, this Narrow Box Erector was developed in response to needs from the co-packer, electronics, personal care, and pharmaceutical markets.
An Allen-Bradley Micro 820 PLC features Ethernet connectivity, sensor functionality, jam detection and a photo eye that will detect box back up in the case sealer.
An Eaton HMI provides machine diagnostics and warnings, an Ethernet Port, case set up instructions, the ability to store up to 10 case size set-up parameters and offers dual languages.
Small Footprint- Patented case flow technology allows the CF-25 SB to maintain its versatility without compromising your floor space.
Reliable Case Transfer- Boxes are mechanically squared at side belt entrance. Box maintains squareness due to common shaft driven belt speeds.
Quick/Easy Changeover- Load-on-the-fly/easy load hopper ensures case loading and changeover are simple and efficient.
The Little David CF-5 is a semi-automatic case erector capable of handling a variety of case sizes. It has an ergonomic design that adjusts to most conveyor heights using slide and lock legs, making it easily compatible with most sealers. The CF-5 also uses an Allen Bradley Micro800 PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to drive the cases, so it doesn't require any lubrication. The intuitive changeover feature helps to maximize production speeds, increasing the efficiency of the entire system. This system can be easily operated and requires minimal operator training. In order to operate the CF-5:
-The case is first formed.
-The case is then held in place for the operator to pack.
-Next, the case is pushed into a case sealer and is able to be sealed top and bottom.
This case sealer takes the place of traditional air logic driven case formers. Not only does the CF-5 reduce the amount spent on labor costs, but its user-friendly workplace design doesn't require employees to perform the constant, repetitive twisting motion needed to operate previous models. The use of photo eyes promotes safe operation and further reduces opportunities for work-related injuries to occur. All of this makes the Little David CF-5 an ideal solution for real world case forming applications.
ABOUT LOVESHAW 58 YEARS OF INNOVATION AND QUALITY While they were still in college, Winton Loveland and Saul Warshaw started what was to become a lifetime of friendship, work, and collaboration. After finishing college, they went to work for Saul's father, who owned Atlantic Gum Paper, a company that made gum tape. While there, Saul and Winton invented a device that applied the tape to corrugated cases.
In 1962, the two co-founded the Loveshaw Corporation in order to manufacture and market their invention for automatic sealing of corrugated cases. Loveshaw quickly became the leader in its field and today, 58 years later, maintains its position as the best in the industry.
