“interpack 2026 was a resounding success for us and impressively confirmed just how important connected, efficient and sustainable packaging solutions are to our customers. Under the motto ‘Think connected. Make it smarter.’, we were able to bring our solutions for the food industry, as well as our concepts for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, to life through direct interaction. We were particularly pleased with the high level of engagement at our stands and the keen interest in our solutions. For us, the trade fair demonstrated once again that intelligent production and packaging concepts provide the right answers to current challenges such as efficiency, resource conservation and regulatory requirements.”
Dr. Tobias Richter, CSO, MULTIVAC Group
“interpack 2026 has clearly reaffirmed its role as the leading international trade fair and a driving force for innovation. Its high level of international participation, the excellent calibre of visitors and the successful programme of events demonstrate that interpack is THE key meeting place for the industry and sets the right agenda. Particularly against the backdrop of current economic and geopolitical challenges, the fair has impressively demonstrated just how resilient the industry is. Welcome home in 2029!”
Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) Food and Packaging Machinery Division
“We are very pleased with interpack 2026 and saw a high volume of visitors at our stand, with strong international interest, particularly from the USA, South America and Japan. Our innovations in the field of coating machines were particularly well received. A key topic of discussion was the rising cost of raw materials and its impact on the industry.”
Klaus-Dietrich Franzmeier, Member of the Executive Board, SOLLICH KG
“interpack 2026 was an outstanding success for our company. Visitor quality was exceptionally high, with attendees coming from all over the world despite ongoing global crises affecting some regions more strongly than others. Several packaging systems from Theegarten-Pactec and Makrev were sold during the event, while many new projects involving confectionery, bouillon cubes and dishwasher tabs were initiated. The digital solutions of our partner SweetConnect, including the integrated AI bot “Mira”, also attracted strong interest for its ability to improve machine efficiency through comprehensive data analysis.”
Markus Rustler, President & CEO, Theegarten-Pactec
“Interpack 2026 proved to be a successful edition, with good international attendance and a very positive response to our innovations in AI-driven solutions and robotics. The quality of discussions and the level of interest exceeded our expectations, reinforcing our confidence in continued business growth following the show.”
Marco Cesari, Corporate Communication – Team Leader, Corporate Identity Services, IMA S.p.A.
“Visitor traffic at the Taghleef Industries booth was consistently very positive. In terms of visitor origin, European customers predominated, particularly those from Germany, Italy, and the Benelux countries. Among non-European visitors, Japan deserves special mention. In addition to individual product highlights, our NATIVIA (“biobased”) segment was the main focus of interest and the most frequently discussed topic in conversations. Beyond that, no specific topics were prioritized; instead, the general market situation in the industry—particularly regarding material availability and price trends—was the topic of discussion. We view our trade show presence less as a means of pure business acquisition and more as a platform for networking, expanding existing contacts, and deepening customer relationships.”
Andreas Mueller, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Ti Group
“For Syntegon, this year’s interpack was a great success. Our booth was themed ‘re:imagine Your Factory of the Future’ and received a very positive international response. Visitors were particularly interested in our neXt, SVX, and SynTiso solutions. This was evidenced by numerous follow-up discussions and new orders.”
Patrick Löffel, Press Spokesman, Syntegon Technology
“We experienced a strong visitor flow throughout interpack 2026, welcoming both long-standing customers and many new faces from all over the world. There was significant interest in our StellaNova with integrated CIP system, our candy bar line, and many engaging conversations about how digitalization and solutions like Sweet Connect can support our customers’ operations. Aasted has proudly been part of interpack for many years, and the positive energy and strong dialogues this year already make us excited for interpack 2029.”
Piet Tæstensen, CEO, Aasted ApS
“The quality of visitors proved to be very high, with meetings mostly scheduled by appointment and highly targeted. We initiated concrete projects and recorded strong interest from pharmaceutical companies, particularly in the solutions we are developing in line with PPWR requirements and in Line Clearance systems. There was a strong presence from Europe, India, and Latin America, while the Far East and the United States were less represented. We look forward to a renewed future edition, capable of interpreting an ever-evolving global context.”
Valerio Soli, CEO, Marchesini Group
“For us, interpack 2026 was a real highlight. Our Cubo and Click In Lid products won a total of four awards—including two WorldStar Packaging Awards, the President’s Award in Gold, and the Silver SAVE FOOD Award. This recognition confirms our commitment to innovation.”
Jörg Sabo, Global Marketing & Innovation Director, Greiner Packaging
“Metsä Board attracted strong interest at interpack from brand owners and converters across all continents. Visitors explored our fresh fibre paperboard solutions and learned how our renewable materials and expert services support carbon‑footprint reduction. Marjo Halonen, VP Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, Metsä Board
“Once again, interpack confirmed its position as the world’s leading platform for the packaging industry — with one clear message: leadership today is defined by delivering change at scale. Innovation has moved from concept to execution. The future of packaging will be shaped not by ideas alone, but by those who can deliver them reliably at scale. At Sappi, we are proud to help lead that transition.”
Flavio Froehli, VP Marketing & Sales, Sappi Europe
“We were very pleasantly surprised by interpack’s significantly increased international presence. For us and our colleagues from international markets, the high caliber of visitors sent a strong signal. We are particularly pleased that our booth was so well received after a nine-year absence from interpack.”
Christof Kölschbach, CSO, Jokey Holding
“Throughout interpack 2026, we saw a very high level of visitor interest at our booth—especially during peak times, when we had many spontaneous conversations with members and interested brand owners. From our perspective, the continuing improvement in the quality of these discussions is particularly positive: topics such as PPWR implementation, raw material prices, market trends, and developments in end-user markets are being discussed in an increasingly concrete and strategic manner.”
Guido Aufdemkamp, Executive Director, Flexible Packaging Europe
“Once again, interpack served as a platform for our industry to take stock of the latest developments. The focus was on innovative solutions—not only to meet the requirements of the PPWR, but also to actively shape a new industrial culture that is circular, innovative, and economically viable. For plastic packaging manufacturers, our booth was the perfect place to gather and share insights and progress toward a functioning circular economy.”
Mara Hancker, Managing Director Communication, German Association of the Plastics Packaging Industry (IK)
“Looking back on interpack 2026, we can say it was a very successful trade show for SCHÜTZ: customers, partners, and members of the press from all over the world visited our booth. With our new products and the new CircularOne service platform, we demonstrated how SCHÜTZ seamlessly combines technology with the circular economy. Two evening events featuring engaging conversations, exquisite food, and live music rounded out the trade show.”
Veit Enders, Member of the Executive Board, SCHÜTZ Group
“Our two trade fair highlights – autonomous material handling using AGVs and alternative, distinctive concepts for secondary packaging, such as the LitePac Top concept – were all about automation, differentiation and sustainability.
It was precisely these two topics that dominated the numerous discussions at our Krones stand. On site, the team held many high-quality technical discussions that often went into great detail. The high demand for sustainable packaging concepts and alternatives became particularly clear.
We are therefore all the more pleased that we were able to present practical solutions at interpack that specifically address the industry’s current requirements and needs.”
Dr. Martin Pitsch, Head of Packaging Technology, Krones AG
